A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to reveal all she went through before she finally graduated from secondary school. She is now setto bag her PhD. Identified as Aduke George on Twitter, on Saturday, December 16, recounts how she gained admission into University of Lagos (UNILAG) at the age of 26 years.
Despite all the challenges she went through, George further disclosed that she went back to secondary school at 20 years. But she did not allow all the setbacks to distract her from achieving her goals.
Her tweet reads: “Finished secondary school @16, Failed WAEC & GCE 3 times went back to SS2 @20. Entered university @26. Now I have an OND, Bachelor of Art (BA) with a 1st class, 2 Masters degree, 2 professional certificates and getting ready for a PhD It does not matter your point zero… If you keep pushing, you will excel.”
Still on Saturday, she shared another post which reads: “To anyone here who had a very rough childhood whose childhood has messed up your psychic and who is trying to break off from memories of those past but not finding it easy. I pray u strength, I pray u grace! I know what it feels like! But I pray God finds you wholeness.”
