And now, it seems, another fan wanted to make a dream come true. So the fan walked up to Nicki Minaj on stage in Nottingham on April 7 and asked for a lap dance.
Yep, you read that right. The fan actually walked up to Nicki and went ahead with this question: “Can I be really cheeky and ask for a lap dance?”
As you can see, Nicki’s initial response was a quick and resounding “No,” but moments later, she looked at her audience, smiled and gave the fan a little dance.
Even Nicki couldn’t believe she did that. “What just happened, y’all?” she asked in the clip.
When Nicki posted the videos on Instagram Wednesday (April 8), she had another question about the incident: “Why she put her leg up like she was really ’bout to get it poppin’?”
While the fan got a glimpse of what it’s like to get a dance from Nicki, we’ve seen others get actual lap dances from the MC, including Lil Wayne in 2011 and Drake in 2014. In fact, Drizzy’s dance came in the music video for “Anaconda.”
Who knows what’s next for Nicki? She’s touring through Europe through April 12, so there might be more of these fan encounters. Then, she’s scheduled to begin her U.S. Pinkprint tour July 17 in Dallas, Texas.
